To help guide you through your surgery, Baptist Health Care offers pre-operative total joint education classes for both knee and hip replacement procedures. When you are scheduled for surgery, you will be automatically enrolled in the education class specific to your procedure. Classes are conducted on the Baptist and Gulf Breeze hospital campuses and are instructed by nurses and physical therapists who will be caring for you before, during and after your surgery.

Classes cover all aspects of your total joint replacement procedure from your hospital stay to pain management and rehabilitation. Caregivers who will be helping you during this process are welcome and encouraged to accompany you to your classes.
